To have it with Jam or to have it with Butter.

Or even better-Both.

To have it with Butter and Jam or Peanut Butter and Jam.

Or Peanut Butter and Honey.

Or Butter and Honey.

Or Honey and Cheese.

To have Cheese with Jam or Jam with Cheese.

To have your Toast Toasted Black or to have your Toast Toasted Hardly at all.

Or just a golden In Between.

To butter it Hot or to butter it Cold.

To butter it Thoroughly or to just Scrape the butter knife across it.

To eat toast Now or to eat toast Later.

Or even better-Both.

_________

The newest little painting in the studio is “Toast”.

And it's for my Mom-the Loverest Lover of Toast.

You know-Feeling sick? Eat some toast.

Late for school? Yikes, you overslept. Eat toast.

Nervous? At least have some toast.

I'm incredibly stressed about all the things I need to do today. I'll just have one piece of toast first.

Cold? Eat toast.

Too hot in the house to use the stove? Toast

How is it almost Christmas again? Toast.

We would have thrived in the 19th century British “High Tea and Toast” era.

But here we are.

Thanks for being here.
